I really like this style of yours.

Do you remember how long it took you to create this artwork?

MLeth responds:

Oh man, I always wish I time myself when I do art but.. I rarely do art in one sitting so it's hard to time. But I usually say that for something like this it'd be anything from 6-10 hours

Beautifully drawn. It looks like you took a picture of her, while she was not looking. I like that you used less detail in the background, which puts her in the center of attention. You also used rule of threes in the composition I suppose?

Where did you took the reference for her wings? Dragonflys? Looks amazing :)

The lighting comes from above and you used rim lights ;)

And the sun in the background is well made, although I think Iwould have preffered that you used it as an actual light source it is still a great drawing.

Are you going to draw some pictures, more up to date? I mean those you uploaded are more older one. I would like to see your progress so far :)

Cheers

MLeth responds:

Thanks! I've already posted quite a few pieces I made within the past few months. I'm just kinda uploading stuff I think are good from the past few years instead of strictly going from new to old.

Hi there!
I really like your drawing and like to learn something from it.

I would like to know how many lightsources you used here. It looks for me like there are maybe 4? I can see one from the front below left, 2 rim lights from left and right and one from above for the hair? Looking at it straight ahead.

Cheers! And I wanna see more!

MLeth responds:

Seems like a fair assessment! I like to add a sharp rimlight to bring out some depth and it automatically creates some cheap but effective contrast hehe.

Glad you like the piece!

Crispy Lines, complentary colours and your lighting is well done. All in all a great work!

The only thing that catches my eyes would be the thumb of the captain. I think you tried to picture the perspective of it, but because of the missing shadow it appears to small compared to the rest of the hand.

I just watched Jazzas COTM all entries videos and saw your work!

Amazingly well executed, as Jazza would say ;)

Djoresh responds:

I still don't feel like I deserve this, but I am glad people like it. thank you :)

I really like your art :)
I caught myself several times already waiting for your new uploads :)

You have a special way of drawing light and shadow. It looks like you are using 2 sources of light this time ö.Ö

Your composition is very good and your line of action directs my eyes directly to her face, away from her right hand ;) The right hand seams a little bit off in my opinion and her necklace seems a bit dull without reflection.

I'm looking forward to your next creating *thumbs up*
